The Fight for Patient's Rights

With medical cannabis now legal in 15 states and the District of Columbia, the issue of medical pot in the workplace is becoming increasingly significant, affecting various companies and government agencies as well as thousands of individual medical marijuana patients . The ongoing conflict between the legal right to self-medicate versus concerns over workers being intoxicated on the job warrants a closer look at the recent history and latest developments regarding medical marijuana in the workplace. The IRS Attacks Medical Marijuana Dispensaries

Before we all partake of the high holiday of 4/20, there is another annual event that isn’t so joyous to stoners “ or anyone else for that matter€ “ Tax Day. However, if we should at some point in time run this on the floor, there will be several amendments to it, Chairman John Barker added at the meeting’s opening.    On Tuesday, Rep. Blake Carpenter filed an extensive amendment accepted in a voice vote in the committee. It would permit the counties to opt-out of the endorsed dispensaries in their jurisdiction, protect patient’s gun rights, clarify limitations on advertising, eradicate housing and employment protections for medical marijuana pati
